ABOUT ME
My name is Brodie and I am a lifelong explorer, experiencer, and examiner of essence, dedicated to living in service of love, harmony, and beauty.
My creative background is in songwriting – which, over the years, led me into performance, photography, design, copy writing, film-making, editing, acting, audio engineering and production, merch design and more – safe to say I’m multi-fascinated!
Along the way, I began to recognize that beneath all of these different forms was the essential substance of a process: a counterintuitive, creative process of listening deeply for what wants to become, and then patiently serving that process of "ripening" until fruition… And, in doing so,companion-ing ideas out of the imaginal realm and into the world around us, the way a flower or fruit might eventually unfold from a tiny seed.
This is the process I continue to support in others through websites, coaching, and strategic guidance.
MUSICAL PATH & PERSONAL LIFE
For many years, my primary focus was a dream-hop recording project called The Brodcast where I created songs and albums exploring creativity, consciousness, and calling. Check it out here.
I am currently working on a new guitar-based project, which I reckon will ripen when it’s ready :)
Today, I live in Seattle, WA, where I love spending time in parks (especially those on the Salish Sea), writing music, reading fantasy books, and cultivating a contemplative life.
MY APPROACH
I believe that our essence as human beings is sacredness - and no matter how much we hide from it, run from it, cover it up, or forget about it, it is always waiting for us to remember and recover.
I believe our trauma responses and coping mechanisms were formed by the best efforts of our young bodies and nervous systems to protect us and that coming into wholeness is about loving, embracing, and integrating these parts.
I believe that when we gather in presence and companionship, consciously focusing our attention and intention, miracles can happen.
And in a world of increasing overwhelm, artificial-ity, and polarization, I believe that unfolding the gold of our heart-centered work & creative expression is existentially important.
